Maintenance & Servicing

Intelligent Vending Ltd offer a comprehensive range of maintenance services for most of our vending machines we supply within the UK. We offer both basic pay-as-you-go type packages to full annual parts & labour cover including training. Our reason for not offering maintenance on a few of our basic vending machines is down to their simplicity and ease of operation and installation. In these cases, any maintenance packages would not be cost effective as basic training and troubleshooting can be taken care of via telephone or email communications.

For clients that opt out of cover at the time of purchase, they will be covered by the manufacturers parts only warranty. It is important to note that that we are a business to business supplier and all of the equipment we provide is via our commercial terms and conditions. If you have decided not to take out a support package when purchasing the equipment, any labour costs will be charged on a call out and time-on-site basis (ad-hoc 'pay-as-you-go' service). Also, please note that call-out and labour charges will apply even if equipment is new, irrespective if the equipment is covered by the manufacturers parts only warranty. Many of our clients are in the trade or purchasing in volume, and therefore have their own engineers with no need for additional support. This is why our technical support services are offered as 'optional' add-on packages to clients at the time of purchase. We strongly advise all non-trade or non-technically minded clients to take out cover for peace of mind.

For our international customers, there are a few different options. If you happen to be in an area we cannot cover, we may still be able to provide assistance due to our extensive global network of vending contacts. Additionally, we can offer training sessions in the UK if required, or even arrange a remote location visit from an engineer (this is usually only applicable on large orders); this means your local engineers can then receive first-hand, on-site training.

Where clients have taken out a maintenance contract with us, we aim to attend machine faults within 48 hours for most models of vending machine (excluding some regional locations plus weekends and UK statutory holidays).

With most new vending machine(s) purchases, we can also provide installation and staff day-to-day training either remotely or on-site if you have opted for this service at the time of purchase. Where clients have taken out annual maintenance cover, machines will also be serviced and any labour and/or replacement parts required are free of charge (excluding damage caused by vandalism or misuse). In this case, you will also not be charged callout fees for our engineers attending site (unless the technical issue has been caused by operator error or neglect of the equipment etc).
