Site Surveys
When ordering a vending machine or other large equipment, customers must ensure the site is suitable and that access arrangements (e.g., doors, corridors, stairs) allow safe transport from the delivery vehicle to the final destination. Adequate parking for unloading, including any time restrictions, must also be confirmed.
If the equipment is to be placed outside or in environments with corrosive elements (e.g., near a swimming pool), confirm the machine?s suitability and IP (Ingress Protection) status before ordering. Information on machine suitability for such locations is available on product pages, but please check with us if unsure.
A site survey must be provided at the time of order for vending machines and large equipment. This is mandatory for access and Health and Safety reasons, ensuring no access problems and the availability of correct handling equipment.
Some equipment requires its own power or water supply. Customers must ensure these are conveniently located. Additional charges may apply if the connection is not straightforward or if the equipment needs to be sited more than a metre from the service access point.
We can arrange a site survey by our specialist carriers and provide a detailed RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statement) if requested. This service is chargeable. Alternatively, we can supply a blank site survey form for completion by the customer.
Ensuring site suitability is crucial, as full payment is required once the order is processed, regardless of subsequent suitability issues. Abort and re-delivery charges may apply if incorrect information is provided.
If installation, collection, or relocation is not possible due to inadequate site survey information, additional costs may be incurred for returning the machine to the factory or for further visits and specialist equipment use.
