Delivery and Shipping
Delivery Times
Delivery times vary according to the product and manufacturer, and it is best to check these at the time of ordering. A usually reliable estimate can be found on each product page next to its image but sometimes, including for reasons beyond our control e.g. manufacturing issues, there are delays in getting the product to you.
Many of the items we supply ship on either a next day, or 1 to 3 days basis. Please note, however, that lead times can be much longer for more specialised equipment, or where individual set-ups/configurations are carried out at the factory prior to shipping (especially change machines or vending machines).
For large machines, customers will be made aware of the delivery date so they can make practical arrangements to receive the equipment. If access to a customer site is possible only at specified times, we may be able to provide a timed delivery at extra cost, but we will need the agreement of the shipper before confirming this.
Shipping Method
Items that are shipped to the customer directly from the manufacturer will normally be sent using the courier or specialist delivery company that is contracted by the manufacturer. For items despatched directly via Intelligent Vending, we use a range of leading couriers including FedEx, DHL, UPS and the Royal Mail. However, for larger items or quantity orders, we frequently send goods via a pallet distribution company, or a specialist logistics carrier who is fully trained on handling large, heavy and fragile equipment.
Shipping Costs
All UK mainland web orders over £1000.00 + VAT include free of charge delivery. For orders under £1000.00 + VAT delivery is added to the order and this will be calculated at the shopping cart area of our website. Charges vary according to the size and weight of products as well as the delivery location. For shipping and transit charges for overseas customers, these are quoted for with goods at the time of order. Please speak to one of our advisers for further information if required.
For delivery of larger machines, we will always discuss delivery arrangements with the client. This will include the need for us to gain information from the client regarding the nature of the site and any accessibility issues. For more information about this see our site survey page or contact us.
