LED Lamps
LED lamps for fly killers are revolutionising pest control with their energy-efficient and long-lasting design. Unlike traditional bulbs, LED lamps emit ultraviolet light that effectively attracts flying insects while consuming significantly less power. We recommend that the LED lamps are changed typically on 3 year cycles, but this may be more frequent dependent on the specific fly killer model and use case. It is also important to note that for LED replacement lamps, that these must be ordered specifically for the LED model of fly killer that you are using. LED lamps are not interchangeable between manufacturers killers like traditional lamps. Another point is that the bright light visible to the human eye, often reduces over a 2 to 4 day period with LED bulbs, however, the UV emittance is not effected at all by this dimming and the bulbs still operate effectively for their function of attracting flies. The bulbs must also be inserted correctly when fitted to the fly killer during replacement as they do not operate in any direction on installation.
