Description
The Vulcan 8 is an advanced outdoor LED glue board fly killer which comes fitted with 2 x 7w Wemlite LED shatter resistant lamps. This is a new outdoor LED fly killer in the range of Insect-a-clear units boasting the introduction of LED technology and therefore providing great cost savings. It is ingress protection rated to IP55.
Using 2 high output LED lamps, the size of which are familiar to pest controllers, their performance exceeds that of existing UVA lamps and yet consumes half of the power required. It ensures even less power consumption than normal electronic ballast machines. The lamp driver is located in the lamp, so when the LED lamps are changed the user experiences all the benefits of essentially a new machine again. No more replacing expensive drivers after a few years.
The curvaceous, contemporary design and the stainless steel front-guard, together have produced a terrific LED glue board fly killer machine. The Vulcan 8 LED is ideal for virtually any application (front of house or behind the scenes).

Vulcan 8 outdoor LED glue board fly killers provide a number of cost savings over traditional units with at least 60-70% reduction in power consumption alone. The long life LED lamps also last considerably longer than lamps used in traditional fly killers. It is recommended for LED fly killers that the LED lamps should be changed every 3 years.
LEDs are also self driven which means that no separate driver is required inside the fly killer machines. This means that after each lamp change, LED fly killer users are essentially getting the power of a new unit without the lifespan issue (circa 7 years) that clients typically expect from more traditional fly killers using conventional drivers.
