The T6 LED fly killer is a UK-manufactured professional high-voltage electric grid insect control unit, designed to provide effective pest management in commercial and business environments. Fitted with energy-efficient UVA LED lamps, the T6 LED attracts flying insects before eliminating them with its high-voltage grid. T6 LED fly killers provide a number of cost savings over traditional units with at least 60-70% reduction in power consumption alone. The long life LED lamps also last considerably longer than lamps used in traditional fly killers. It is recommended for LED fly killers that the LED lamps should be changed every 3 years.
LEDs are also self driven which means that no separate driver is required inside the fly killer machines. This means that after each lamp change, LED fly killer users are essentially getting the power of a new unit without the lifespan issue (circa 7 years) that clients typically expect from more traditional fly killers using conventional drivers.
Please note that for all LED fly killers, it is important to fit only the manufacturers specified lamps to ensure compatibility.
