Change Machines
Anywhere bank notes are not accepted or specific denominations of coins are required – such as near parking meters or in games arcades – change machines are the solution.
Change machines come in 3 main variations:
* note to coin (note in -> coin(s) out)
* coin to coin (coin in -> coin(s) out)
* note and coin to coin (note and coin in -> coin(s) out)
When considering the purchase of change machines, deciding on the machine variation and the required coin denomination configuration should be the first step (for example: changing banknotes to just £1 coins and/or 20 pence pieces, etc.). We can provide change machines which dispense up to 3 different denominations of coin.
Intelligent Vending Ltd supply a variety of change machines suitable for a wide range of locations. Whether you are looking for coin to coin or note to coin dispensing, wall mounted or floor standing, we aim to provide a secure solution that you can rely on.
Change machines are probably most commonly seen in arcades and casinos, but they are used in many other locations such as airports, train & bus stations, libraries, colleges & universities, bars & restaurants, staff canteens or just near other vending machines for the consumers’ convenience.
Change machines are not just limited to changing money from one denomination to another; we also offer token change machines for self-service businesses. Laundrettes are a good example of a useful application for token vending machines.

The Benefits Of Intelligent Vending Change Machines
There are many reasons why your premises might benefit from a change machine. We are all used to seeing change machines in arcades and other places where change is often required by most users. Change machines are not exclusive to these locations though and can become a boon to many other organisations and businesses too.
Change machines as supplied by Intelligent Vending Ltd come in a variety of forms to suit any location and provide a secure and reliable solution. Machines are available to take and dispense coins only, or notes to coins and can be wall mounted or floor standing depending on the available space and position.
An example of the kinds of businesses which could benefit a change machine are public houses or bars with quiz machines or other vending machines which take coins. This saves patrons repeatedly coming to the bar for change and having to queue with those waiting for drinks. Another business which may find a change machine on site a very useful addition is a laundrette, especially one with coin activated tumble driers. Having a change machine next to food and drink dispensing vending machines in a high traffic area can also be very handy.
Change vending machines are of course available with differing features depending on your needs. Some take several denominations of cash and dispense only one, whereas others can dispense multiple denominations. Highly secure and also high-tech change machines incorporate reliable vending, pleasing aesthetics and forgery detection and alarm systems to give an all-round excellent service.
Intelligent Vending supply both new and refurbished vending machines, so have solutions to suit all applications and budgets.

More from Intelligent Vending
Intelligent Vending Ltd is a UK based vending company, located on the edge of the Peak District in Derbyshire, within the East Midlands. We primarily supply vending machines, catering equipment, machine components, vending ingredients and consumables to a wide range of commercial and industrial clients, small, large, and multi-national. The company also has established trading relationships with the public sector, including the armed forces, and we often supply to domestic home users. In addition, we supply services to the vending, catering and hygiene trades and a number our customers are themselves vending machine or hygiene service providers.
Most of our business is conducted over the internet, but we pride ourselves on the high level of personal contact we have with our customers. We have found this to be the best way of understanding our customers’ particular needs, and ensuring that their individual and specialist vending machine requirements are fully met. Pricing is transparent, because we display this on our site – this avoids the need for unnecessary and protracted negotiations because everything we sell is already at a very competitive price. For large and significant orders, however, we are happy to offer even better value (if that is possible!).
Enjoy shopping at Intelligent Vending Ltd!

Vending machines, an overview
Vending machine technology has advanced dramatically over the past ten years. Traditionally, vending machines have been used to vend soft and hot drinks, snacks and food and are common in transport hubs (e.g. airports and railway stations), or anywhere that attracts large gatherings of people (e.g. shopping malls, or entertainment centres). Most washrooms in public places also have vending machines selling personal items such as sanitary products or condoms etc.
The use of change machines and ATMs to provide withdrawal facilities from personal bank accounts has also grown dramatically in recent years and now such machines are a common sight, even in relatively small retail outlets. Likewise, the growing demand for quality bean to cup or fresh brew coffee has led not only to rapid expansion of cafe outlets on every high street, but also the development of vending machines that produce comparable quality to that which is ‘hand-made’ by the Barista.
There is now a vast range of vending machines for sale to meet every need, from selling gold bars and jewellery, or perfumes in airports, to the vending of stationery products and ink cartridges in schools and universities, through to the controlled delivery of tools, personal protective equipment (PPE), or industrial goods e.g. adhesive tapes and engineering components, in factories and on construction sites.
