Type IIR are high-quality medical grade masks with three layers of protection to ensure comfort and good breathability. They are single use disposable, 3-ply face masks with nose clips and soft ear-loops.

Type IIR (Type 2R) face masks are a high-end solution designed primarily for protecting others from the wearer transmitting infection to the patient or surrounding environment. They include fluid resistance, to counter protect the wearer from being splattered with human bodily fluids, particulate matter and micro-organisms. Ideal for moderate to light amounts of fluid, spray and/or aerosols and with a high bacterial filtration efficiency of ≥98%.
