For most wall mounted vending machines it is essential that products are boxed to ensure reliable vending. 'Squashy' or irregular shaped products do not stack well, and can often lead to vending machines either vending too many items at once, or not vending at all.
This is less of an issue for vending machines which use spirals to dispense products - such as used by typical snack or combination vending machines. However, even though vending machines which use spiral vending mechanisms tend to be better at vending unusually shaped products, due to their nature, the relative total product capacity vs space required is often much lower than machines which use a stacking system. Even when using vending machines with spiral mechanisms, care should still be taken to ensure unusual items are packed in a way which will minimise the risk of faulty vending.
We sell a variety of different flat folding plain boxes, which are ideal for vending machines - if you are intending to vend non-standard products, packing them in boxes should be a vital consideration.
