Intelligent Vending has developed considerable expertise in providing low cost condom vending equipment to schools, college, university and armed forces environments in order to support local sexual health initiatives. Condoms are a safe and simple solution that helps reduce the risk of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) as well as unwanted pregnancy. Easy and non-stigmatising 24/7 access to condoms in areas frequented by young people (the main target for most sexual health initiatives) has been found to be one of the best means of making a difference in this challenging area.
Intelligent Vending supports educational and similar establishments in such initiatives by providing low cost but very robust and simple to operate vending machines that can be located widely across a building or campus. The company adds further value by providing condoms to be used in sexual health promotions at special low rates that are well below those found across the rest of the industry. Intelligent Vending will also happily share the experience and expertise it has gained from working in this area over a large number of machines both in the UK and overseas. This advice will include provision of tailored solutions for different settings, where best to locate machines and how to operate them at minimum cost. In some cases, students take on this responsibility themselves via the students union in a college or university.
