Scotsman AF80 Flake Ice Cube Machine

The Scotsman AF80 is a mid-capacity ice machine which produces standard flake ice.

Flake Ice is produced with a high water content which is favourable for heat exchange. Flaked ice contains 25% residual water content making it very moist.

The AF80 has a maximum ice production of 70kg over a 24 hour period and a 25kg bin/ice storage capacity. The dimensions of the AF80 are (W x D x H): 54 x 63 x 81 cm (93cm with legs). This model features a CPS-Co-Axial flake-ice System: a Scotsman solid stainless steel evaporator, perfected through years of experience.

Direct refrigerant expansion technology is used when producing the ice for optimum efficiency and durability. Top grade stainless steel allows for rust free durability, ease of cleaning and high hygiene levels. The large, accessible ice storage area also allows for quick and easy sanitisation.

This ice machine produces high water content standard flake ice which is recommended when heat removal must be swift; combining ice with humidity accelerates temperature reduction. Examples where standard flake ice is preferred include: laboratories, first aid installations, beauty parlours and health spas. The AF80 is great for any situation where low to medium quantities of easy to use, 'soft and moist' flake ice required.

Front ventilation airflow is featured as standard on Scotsman under counter models, as well as easy to reach connections and controls for maximised installation flexibility. Bacterial protection control is also achieved through the use of AgiON; an antibacterial compound which, during production, is fused into any plastic parts that will come in to contact with water.

Intelligent Vending strongly advise that all water filters are replaced every 6 months to maximise the life of machines and ensure best quality of ice. Replacement water filters can be ordered online and these are straightforward to replace in-house.
