Scotsman MV 456 Traditional Dice Ice Cube Machine

The MV456 ice machine from industry leaders, Scotsman, features state of the art technology. The fast drop system allows for the reduction of the harvest cycle duration whilst the water sense system monitors and optimises water consumption, this can depend on water hardness.

The technology in the MV 456 ice machine from Scotsman includes a vertical dice system, which creates ice best suited to industries where large quantities of traditional/dice ice cubes are needed. A water purity system helps to remove all minerals in the machine by regular flushing of the water sump with fresh water.

The MV 456 modular dice ice maker features a sensor which measures electrical conductivity to sense when the machine is to go into harvest mode. As with other ice machines from Scotsman, the Total Hygiene Concept is incorporated into the MV 456. The machine is produced using food grade stainless steel, which provides rust free durability, easy cleaning and high hygiene levels.

Additionally, the introduction of AgION to machine components during construction provides the machine with in-built bacterial protection. AgION is a silver based anti-microbial compound which reduces the growth of bacteria, microorganisms, algae, mould and slime on the ice. This is a specific, reliable and durable technology against ice microbial contamination feature, which is especially useful where hygiene cannot be ignored.

This machine has a maximum production of 215kg in a 24hour period. A selection of storage bins are also available for this model.
