The Scotsman CD40 ice dispenser produces super cube medium sized gourmet ice. This ice machine sports a sleek - tall and thin - design, and can easily slot into any professional environment. The Scotsman CD40 is perfect for the bars, cafes, restaurants, catering companies and many other businesses within the hospitality industry.
The CD40 is fitted with patented touch free technology, which optimises health and hygiene. Another great feature which helps combat any potential hygiene issues is the AquaArmor technology integrated into components of the ice machine itself. AquaArmor utilises the properties of AgION: a silver based, anti-microbial compound that reduces the growth of bacteria, microorganisms, algae, mould and slime on the ice machine surface. This is a specific, reliable and durable technology against ice microbial contamination feature, which is especially useful in the medical sector.
The Scotsman CD40 ice maker features a water purity system which removes minerals in the machine by flushing the water sump with fresh water between each cycle.
