Scotsman AC46 & EC46 Gourmet Ice Cube Machine

The Scotsman AC46 is a smart, small production / capacity, self-contained ice machine which dispenses medium sized gourmet (20g) cube ice into a 9kg capacity storage bin and features soft close doors with rubber inserts to decrease noise.

The Scotsman AC46 ice machine offers many notable features to maintain high levels of hygiene. These include: a scoop holder; a maintenance alarm to inform user when routine cleaning is due and alerts to excessive dust and dirt has built up; a patented Scotsman rubber cap system which helps collect scale; and a time release anti-microbial vapour pouch which is included within the machine to maintain the hygiene of the ice (essential within the medical sector). The pouch requires changing on a regular basis.

Fundamentally, the AC46 is a 'plug-and-play' ice machine. It is easy to install and commission, and is designed with smooth rounded corners. A front approach air filter provides easy access for cleaning.

The EC46 (which is the same machine spec) with the addition of a PWD (Progressive Water Discharge system) which is unique to Scotsman. PWD allows the ice machine to be up to 15 meters away from the water source and 1.5 meters below the actual drain outlet. This keeps algae or microbes formed in stagnant water away from your ice (standard on EC easy fit models).

The AC46 ice machine can produce 24.5 kg of ice in a 24hour period, and has a 9kg bin capacity, making it perfect for use in a number of scenarios, for example, caf?ars and hospitals. The 'thimble' shape of the gourmet ice cube prevents the formation of one giant, useless ice cube within transit.

Intelligent Vending strongly advise that all water filters are replaced every 6 months to maximise the life of machines and ensure best quality of ice. Replacement water filters can be ordered online and these are straightforward to replace in-house.
