Shopper 2 Carousel Food Vending Machine

The Shopper 2 food vending machine from Crane Merchandising Systems (CMS) has been designed to cater for those requiring a dynamic, round-the-clock vending service. The machine features 9 separate rotating drums which display the products with optimum visibility. The drums can be compartmentalised in to various sizes to fit the dimensions of the food or snack item to be vended.

Selections are made through buttons situated next to each level which automatically rotate the respective drum until the desired product is at the front of the machine. Once payment has been made, the compartment can be opened, providing access to the product. The drums can be rotated at two different speeds, to increase product delivery time and improve the sales experience.

An innovative - and exclusive - "Prefer Max" feature has been integrated in to the Shopper 2, which automatically moves the drums to the position which shows the most products at a time. This helps to increase sales through increased product visibility.

The flexibility of the drum compartment configurations allows the Shopper 2 to stock 229mm plates, sandwiches, Tetra Paks and cans. The Shopper 2 also offers one of the most even temperature distributions of all food vending machines in the industry; thanks to improved airflow and a new refrigeration design.

Sales information is recorded through the audit system which has been integrated in to this food vending machine, streamlining stock control and machine management processes.

The machine's cabinet and door are 'foamed-in-place' to improve insulation and reduce energy consumption. The Shopper 2 achieved a B energy efficiency rating.
