Bactokill Air Sterilizers

Air sterilisers and air purifiers

Air sterilizers, or air purifiers, filter and clean the air as it is cycled through chambers contained within the body of the machine. The typical method used to purify the air is the removal of bacteria through exposure to the extremely effective anti-bacterial properties of UVc radiation.

About Bactokill air sterilizers

Backtokill Air SterilizerThe BactoKill UV System represents the latest in air sterilization solutions. In any contained area lies the risk of airborne bacteria and viruses; this is potentially very dangerous should an outbreak occur. Aside from the threat posed by the known bacteria and viruses, there are predictions of new super viruses which could cause severe problems should they materialize. The solution to this problem is the BactoKill Air Sterilization System.

Of the choice of machines on the market, we were most impressed with the Bactokill air sterilizer. It is a very cost effective solution - which works! This is backed up by independent research (please see links below).

How Bactokill air sterilizers work

UVc radiation is known to destroy the DNA in living matter, and is proven to posses extremely effective anti-microbal qualities under proper conditions. The BactoKill is a versatile product which has useful applications in a wide variety of locations, including: hospitals, surgeries, waiting rooms, food preparation areas, hospitality environments, homes and offices.

Backtokill Air SterilizerThe BactoKill Air Sterilization System incorporates two high-intensity UVc lamps in two air chambers. As it works it controls the dwell time of air passing through the chambers and over the UVc lamps. During this dwell time the bacteria, moulds and viruses are virtually eliminated.

Further uses of Bactokill air sterilizers

Since the launch of Bactokill air sterilizers, a number of inventive consumers have found some interesting and innovative applications for the product. One example was found by utilising a handy by-product of the Backtokill air sterilizer: its odour-eliminating ability.

The vast majority of unpleasant smells in the air are produced by some form of bacteria. By treating the air with anti-bacterial UVc radiation, odours are destroyed, along with all other unwanted impurities.

Using this knowledge, and the (optional) fragrance dispensing feature of the Bactokill air sterilizers, some Hotels and other large organisations have been able to dramatically improve the hygiene and freshness of their rooms in a fraction of the time previously taken.
